Apologies as this has probably been done to death, but please can someone help me?

Today i fitted my new black V&H shortshots, on my 09 sb, bit fiddly but had it all done in a couple of hours, except for the cable which controls the butterfly in the exhaust, what do I need to do with it?? as there is nowhere for it to go on the new pipes

Hobbit,

Do you know how to disconnect the cable from the business end?

Will the error codes light up the dash light? or cause any harm?

Do you know if I start out with standard baffles then change to quiet (which I probably will) whether it is easy to adjust the fuelpak settings?
