2002 Roadking FLHRCI

Could someone please tell me why this year and model of Road King is so different from other touring models. I wanted to lower the bike , buy mufflers , shocks. It doesn't matter what fits other touring model the same thing does not fit this bike and it drives me nuts!! Why is this bike so specific and who can explain!

Not sure why you're having a problem.
Should be pretty standard buying for a 1999-2006 RK.

Maybe because you're looking for the "classic"..??
Try taking the "C" out, spec out some parts and then call to confirm before you pay.
 
THe Road King Classic should not be any different in construction than a plain jane King IMO take the C out when looking for parts. The FLHS being the model the King evolved from was different only in the dash and gauges, it threw me for a loop till I realized it was still a touring bike and shocks and exhaust were the same

I use the fit chart on JP Cycles or Harley and other sites with the guides and it always gives me limited stock choices. I will try that and see if it works, thanks
