Here is a little extra info that may help you...
Jack the bike up until you see the shock is fully extended. Then lower the bike until you see the shock "just start to collapse". You can now remove the lower shock bolts safely. Once each lower bolt is out, just jack the frame up to gain clearance under the fender.
When it is time to install the shock bolts, just lower bike until the lower shock mounting hole and the frame hole line up and install the bolts. The Spec is 30-40 ft/lbs using #243 Blue. Do not completely tighten them until the bike is back to its normal ride height.
I was not too crazy about cutting the wires for the light relocation kit. If I was to do it again, I would do it differently than how the directions say,,but HD's way does work. It's just not the best way it can be done. (I don't like spices especially with crimp connectors)
Take your time and dress the wires properly. If you don't they will rub against the tire and short out and blow fuses.
