2010 FLHP headlight

When i turned the handlebars the headlight would turn off and on and I could hear a click somewhere near the battery. I took the headlight off and I don't see anything wrong with the wiring, everything is connected, nothing loose. I checked the fuse and it's ok. When I put everything back together again, now the headlights don't turn on at all.
Anyone have this happen to them?

I would look into each connector after disconnected to see if the pins have been pulled out. As the wire insulation ages it shrinks and can pull the pin from the connector.

Look at the wires as the dedicated Shovel enthusiast pointed out.
Could also be a broken wire ( or damaged) wire- the end result of years of turning the ‘bars and flexing or bending that particular wire.
A multimeter to test continuity would be most helpful to fix this.

thanks for the help everyone... unfortunately i still can't find whats going on so i'll be heading to the shop and let them figure it out. i'm out of ideas at this point.
