That is from 3000 miles and not cleaning it. It should have a little red color to it. Plan on doing main. this weekend.

I've thought about getting the tank lift kit for my softail. I'm kinda nervous about it though. It seems like my risers are already less than 1/8th inch from my speedo housing when my bars are turned right or left. Did you notice if your risers got any closer to your speedo housing when you did the tank lift?

It didn't affect that. I did have to move tank back 1/2 inch so trees wouldn't hit. That is a Wide Glide issue.

The apes are 16" with 2" risers.

The filter was cleaned 3000 miles ago. Been thru a little sprinkles & dusty roads. Ya'll made me feel bad yesterday. So I cleaned it last night. So now it is pink again.
