I have a 2002 RK with a Mustang one piece seat Mustang Seats One-Piece Sport Touring Seat (Without Studs) - Harley Davidson FLHR/FLHX (97-07)
I would like to set a bit closer to the tank. I have seen where people bent the seat rest rails, but would rather not do that. There are 2 bolts that bolt the bracket to the fender and one bolt that at the front. My question is, if I remove the 2 bolts at the fender, do the nuts fall on the floor? And is there enough room to get my hand between the tire and the fender, to hold the nuts in place while putting the bolts in place?
