Alarm module on LR?

Anyone install a aftermarket alarm on a LR? If so; where did you install the module?

I bought a BT Jr and thought I'd buy an alarm for the bike while I was installing the pigtail for the charger. Also wanted to see when the battery was made (Aug '07).

The '03 LR had an alarm as an option and the manual has 28 pages of 'help' for problems, but the Shop Manual doesn't show that systems module. Where did the factory module get installed?

I've got an 8017 alarm and the module is 3" x 3.5" x 1.75". Thanks for any ideas.

Nevermind. I managed to fit it in the wire-well under the seat. System up and running, no sweat. Also wired-in the BT Jr. On to the next project......
