Brake bleeder screw size.?

Anybody know what size the front brake bleeder screw size is on the stock calipers? Are they special enough that a standard auto parts store purchase won't work?

Try Metric........ A lot of times a 12 point wrench works better.

I can't remember if they are metric or SAE, but I do remember buying one from an Auto parts store. Real easy to match if you carry old one in.

For a Road King they are: M8 X 1.25 with a depth of: 1.28 in., (32.54) mm

Yours should be the same as mine 1/4-28 and you need a 5/16 wrench or socket to remove it.

Interesting... this is where a screw thread gauge comes in handy.
