bullet headlamp on 2006 StreetBob

I swapped out my stock headlight for a 5 3/4 " Bullet headlight from Harley. Anybody else make this change? I went for the chrome to finish out the front end. Shiny is not always better! Figured the larger light would give me better visibility; not the case. The light only shines a halo on the road; the center where you need it most is barely lit up. Was wondering if I can change to a different bulb or is the lense causing this? I'm in for $300 plus on this and would hate to have to change the light.

I saw your earlier post about the lack of light from this modification. Can you tell us what lamp is in it now?

According to the service parts insert it is a dual filament 12V 60/55W H4 bulb. As I said in the post I don't care for the way it illuninates the road, or lack of.
