carb adjusting problem

I have an 82 1000 iron head it had a little hesitation mid throtle so I rebuilt the carb but a new needle and gaskets and accel pump in float level was almost the same now has a little more hesitation and fuel milage went down I am lost as to why any suggestions oh yea keihin carb thanks for your help guys

Sounds like your jetting is off barring any mechanical problems with the carb. Try a larger main jet in it and go from there.
