I have a 2006 Street Bob.
My ignition switch no longer works in the fork lock position. I am assuming this is a fault in the ignition switch mechanism and can be corrected by removing and replacing the switch mechanism.
Not being a fan of the ignition switch with key dangling on the fork neck, I will be replacing it with a Fat Bob ignition switch mounted on my tanks dash panel. I will use the Fat Bob fork lock in place of my existing ignition switch.
Has anyone removed or replaced an ignition switch on a Dyna?
Mostly I'm looking for info on removal of the existing switch. I have a good idea how to mount the new ignition switch on the dash panel.
Any instruction or tips for me?
