I went for a ride today and the check engine light came on. I went home and checked the self help section and pulled up the diagnostic code procedure. Found the code P1510. This is for EFI Low performance. Cleared code and went for an hour ride and no check engine light. What would cause a EFI low performance code and why would it clear and not come back. Is this something I should be concerned about? Should I get it checked out? Thanks for your input!
 
If You have a piggy back fuel controller check its connection to ECM.If not check ECM connection,unplug and plug back in.When bike is turned off ,of course.
