Check Engine Light

Recently my Check Engine Light on my 2007 FXDB stopped working all together. It does not illuminate at all. Not at start up, not after the bike is already running. Not when I run the code diagnostics test. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here? I'm hitting the road this weekend for a thousand miles and wanted to make sure nothing is going on.

Could the bulb be burnt out? That's the only thing I can think of.

Haven't seen on a motorcycle, but have seen this on a car, and was a fuse. Would be odd that no other idiot lights are not lighting though. Perhaps the error code system is on a separate fuse. Just a thought.

So you are saying that even with just turning the ignition on and not starting bike the light does not go through the self check sequence????
Unless there is a problem with the system the light should never come on while running or checking for codes if there are no faults.....:small3d011:
