check engine light

2014 ultra limted the check engine started coming on the last few days but it will go off after you ride for about a quarter mile and dose not come on the rest of the day. Next day the same thing again. This just started while we were on a 10 day ride checked oil and its fine, the water is just fine, all wires and connetors seem to be fine wondering if anyone else has this happen to them.

this bike is stock except for rinehart slip on mufflers. the bike runs fine except for the check engine light coming on

take the positive battery post off for a few minutes then put back on. See if that fixes it.

I wouldn't pull the battery.You can read code by holding trigger switch and turning on ignition switch.Pressing trigger switch will step You thru code functions.The one with the Y has code.You can also remove code by holding trigger switch.Good Luck.
It would be interesting to know what code.Weird that it corrects itself.
