????? cruise control cable 06 ultra

Hey all need help. Im in the prosses of putting 13in cyclesmiths on, have everything apart pulled throttle & cruise cables off. Now the problem is when I took cruise cable off throttle wheel there is a small sping on the end of the cable inbetween cable shaft & pressed on pin on the end of cable. can someone tell me where the (EDIT) that spring goes? when I pulled cable out I did'nt see where it was at. Thanks for any help.

If it is the same cable with the switch (cruise shut down switch) the spring stays at the end of the cable jacket (likeanextention of the cable jacket) were it is suported just above the wheel/throttle plate.
