Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had links to where someone could purchase a good Black Denim Paint either aerosol can or touch up paint, I have seen one before but can't seem to find it Anymore. I have been reading up on it and it seems you can buy just regular flat black auto paint and then paint over it with a clear coat with flattening agent, has anyone used anything like this before? Also if you paint a forward facing Air cleaner like the K'N type or corsair type, will you have any problems with the heat messing up the paint? Any info on this would be helpful thanks.
 
harley use flat clear, it is easier to clean and maintain than flat color. any auto paint shop should be able to help, the air cleaners are should be fine to paint with most paints but ask the seller what heat exposure the paint can handle
 
Thanks, how hot does the air cleaner elbow get? I assume it gets as hot as the engine at extended stops since most of them are metal? maybe im wrong.....
