Noble; First off, make sure your rims are not coated. Take some polish or toothpaste on a white cloth and rub a small spot. If the cloth is not black, the rim is coated, and coating will have to be removed (sanding not recommended). If the cloth is nice and black, it is bare aluminum and will polish nicely. Try 800 on one of your spots, if 800 does not take the mark out easily, try 600. When you find a grit, do the whole rim. Use a squirt bottle to keep the surface wet, and keep going finer and finer. 1000 or 1500 grit should be fine enough, then go the the simichrome or mothers polish we discussed in another thread. It requires patience and elbow grease, but will look great.
