ok i have the alum. rim their are pits in them. what is the wet sanding process? is it 400,600,800,1000,2000, then polish? thanks for the help

Noble; First off, make sure your rims are not coated. Take some polish or toothpaste on a white cloth and rub a small spot. If the cloth is not black, the rim is coated, and coating will have to be removed (sanding not recommended). If the cloth is nice and black, it is bare aluminum and will polish nicely. Try 800 on one of your spots, if 800 does not take the mark out easily, try 600. When you find a grit, do the whole rim. Use a squirt bottle to keep the surface wet, and keep going finer and finer. 1000 or 1500 grit should be fine enough, then go the the simichrome or mothers polish we discussed in another thread. It requires patience and elbow grease, but will look great.

if it is coated with laquer then it can be easily removed with paint stripper then polish then re apply laquer

they have no clear on them neverdull turns black!!
Good that you know that. Now start with the finest grit you have. If you don't have any of the metal polishes we mentioned, try some abrasive toothpaste in a small area. Give it the ol' polish action, wipe it off and see if the pit has gone. The trick is to use as FINE of a grit as possible, because you are going to have to polish out scratches made by your previous step. Believe me, there is a lot of rubbing required to just go around the wheel one time. Neverdull is good for the final steps, it has very little grit if any.
