Exhaust suggestions

The stock exhaust is too quiet and my aftermarket Rinehart slip-ons are too obnoxious. Anyone have a compromise suggestion?

I have Vance & Hines Short Shot slip-ons and they are pretty loud as well, going to try re-packing them to see if that helps as I'm sure the original packing is deteriorated by now

Look into replacing the baffles in the Rineharts with smaller ones say 1.75"

You could try the HD SE slip-ons, not so loud and a nice rumble. Personally, I like the rush slip-ons 3" with 1.75' baffle.

Been switching back and forth from stock to the Rineharts and now I'm getting used to the the noise. I can definitely notice that drivers see me better with the louder pipes................and all this time I thought that line was garbage! Until I can hear someone else's pipes that I like, I'm gonna stay with the Rineharts. Don't want to make a bad choice and have 3 sets of mufflers...

Thanks for the replies and I'll check out the optional baffles.

I love my rhineharts, and I don't see them around here to often so I think I'm kind of unique in that way.

hello riders!!!

Now that i see this............I was woindering i some of your knowledge can help me......................like you all one of the pieces i want to take off from my bike are the exhaust, instead of the noise i`m looking for a good classic look to my ´11 Bones.
the question is:
Do the fishtail exhaust sistem affects the bike performance?
i know a little about it, but reading and asking now i know that the release of combustion gases by the exhaust help (and sometimes not) the performance (and HP) of the bike.
truth is that i´m looking for a look, but without sacrificing performance or motor lifetime. can some help?
note: sorry for my technical english..............:newsmile08:

I like to lean towards the Rush pipes slip-ons or whole system nice sound not to loud, price is right and you can get them in chrome or black.
Good Luck
