Hi All, 2003 FLHRCI. looking for extended hard bags, as low as they can go. Have seen a few versions online, but want to buy heavy duty. Not looking for cheap price, just quality construction. Will also need hinges and latches as I am using factory leather bags now. Thank you.

Extended bags will be dragging on the ground all the time and be all scratched up. Just a heads up, it's your ride.

Arlen Ness has a new set of extended bags that taper up. They are called "Ness Down and Out Stretched bags" You can look at them at Arlen Ness | Harley Davidson and Custom Home. Ness claims they are 6"'s longer and 2" lower, and have 2"'s of extra ground clearence than their original big bags.

I've seen steel bolt-on plates for extended bags in some mags, but sorry I don't remember who makes or sells them.
