D dbmg Guest Aug 8, 2011 #2 Tank has you covered. On old bike I had a 6" round completely exposed air filter update on it. It make quite a bit of intake noise. Like in the old days when you flipped over the air cleaner lid on a 4 barrel carb....Remember :laugh
