flh ignition switch reinstallation

new to this, got my ignition switch out of my 09 flh, cannot get it back in... keep reading that i dont need harleys "alignment tool". Any help is greatly appreciated.

You don't. Watch the video dbmg posted and make a tool as shown. I modified a screw driver for that purpose.

screw driver works just fine. I kept bending the copper tubeing in the vidio.
