Floorboard/passenger peg mounts

Real quick question. Will the passenger floorboard mounts on a 2001 FLHTC fit on a 1989 FLHTC?

I just looked in my HD accessory catalog, and all touring passenger peg mounts listed are for '93- later.

Real quick question. Will the passenger floorboard mounts on a 2001 FLHTC fit on a 1989 FLHTC?

No, they will not. H-D used to offer a kit to make them fit, but I do not remember exactly what it was called. I just remember that I did not buy it because I felt it was too expensive. There were a lot of changes made for the '93 model year, and many parts from then on will not fit (or maybe I should say directly fit) the '92 and older machines.
