i have a 2003 fxd what are my options on getting a wide glide or street bob type front end ,, i want to change the whole look of bike , any ideas ? dk
 
Welcome to HDT and hope you will find what you are looking for here. May I say the answer is based on whether your first mods are for performance, comfort or looks. Next stop is your MOCO dealer, for the necessary HD Parts and Accessory catalog to look at some "off the shelf" items for starters...then look at major accessory vendors for handlebars/controls, triple tree, fork "rake", chrome/billet/black color scheme, minmalist chop/bob or maximum sculpture/trim etc. The sky is the limit...as well as the thickness of your wallet.

I have a set of chrome sliders coming for my '05 FXD. The manual makes it sound fairly straightforward. Does anyone have any "secrets" or "tips"?
