At last the sun's out in the UK !
Planning a trip next April/May for 2 weeks. Flying to Las Vegas to hire and then hoping to visit Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and Bryce Canyon plus anywhere else we can fit in.
Does anybody have thoughts on sights to see, routes, distances, places to stay (decent hotels), etc.
Any help would be great so thanks in advance.

If you can try to make it thru Zion Nat. Park, up thru Dixie National and on to Bryce Canyon. The Grand Staircase and Capital Reef. Moab and the Arches if you have time.
 
I will be driving in a car:(, this november to Vagas. so I can tell you what we do in the Grand Canyon. but thats in November
 
If you are staying on the strip Las Vegas H.D. has a free shuttle that wil pick up up at 4 casino's and take you to their store and back again.If I remember right the locations are The Stratosphere, Balley's, M G M and the Marage. If you want to rent a bike or just check out the store.
 
Thanks to everyone for their prompt replies - any more most welcome. I think we're getting a really great trip together.
We thought about flying to Denver but flights are really expensive, even if booked now, so Las Vegas seems the only option.

If you make your way south a bit from the Grand Canyon and head towards Sedona that is a beautiful ride as well. On the way back west towards Vegas go through Jerome and head towards Kingman and back to Vegas via the Hoover Dam.

Redfish-Joe has you covered on a great ride through the national parks, I have riden all of that on a few occasions and would not even hesitate to take that ride again.
