I will be buying a 2015 FLHXS soon. I'm looking at a H-D Hammock seat as I've also heard some good reviews about comfort on long trips. In doing some research on the net some have said that using a detachable sissy bar (H-D) with the Hammock is a really tight fit and may cause the seat and sissy bar to rub and in some cases causes wear spots on the seat. Is anyone here using the Hammock with a detachable sissy bar? I've talked to 2 local dealers who both said it should work, but don't seem to know for sure. They didn't have any detachable sissy bars in stock nor was there a demo Hammock to try it with. The sissy bars are on back order for 2 weeks. One dealer said they have discontinued the demo seat program in Canada.
