Hazard light flashing

2006 Street Bob FXBDI
Just recently my hazard lights flash 6 times right after you turn the key on. The bike just turned over 14,000 miles.
Runs fine. and no other issues till last night when a (EDIT) turned left in front of me and caused me to go down,,,I'm OK but my bike has some damage,,,I wouldn't be so mad about it if the guy had stuck around but He ran!!!!! Did get his plate to give to the cops...
Back to the hazards... What does 6 flashes mean?

Glad your alright, sorry about the bike and quick thinking on getting the plate #. Don't know about the 6 flashes but Glider is probably going to help with that and talk to you about the expletive.

A guy that saw the wreck got the guys plate for me,,, I was a little distracted at the time. I asked him to stick around and tell the Cops when he saw and he said "Dude, I cant, I have warrants." Oh well.. He did get the plate for me. And that God I am OK,, A little road rash and my hip/leg is sore but I will be fine.
