I ordered My HD BOMM after work Friday, about 1:30am CDT. They e-mailed me Saturday saying that it is in the mail. The HD BOMM was in my mail box this morning, Monday Morning. Unbelievable.
Remove the windshield, the fairing. Unplug the right plug to the radio, find the #9 wire (red), cut it and splice in the HD BOMM in. As easy as 1,2 and 3...LOL The kit comes with splice connectors but I used solder and shrink tubing for a factory look.
I used the Zumo 550 with my 2002 ultra and the expensive J&M connector interface for years. This is much better, easier to install and the passenger can now talk along with the rider. I called my sister and she said that she could not tell that I was talking on the blue tooth on the Harley Ultra.
Haven't tried it out on the road but there is no doubt in my mind that it will work perfect. Best $99.00 spent on the 2011 Ultra so far.
