Hi Everyone, I have been riding motorcycles all my life. I am 52 years old. I presently ride a 2006 heritage. I also have a 1985 superglide that I completely disassemble and customized myself. I have a 20 year old son that wanted to start riding. As we all know, people and traffic are so much more than just a few years ago. My heart just could not let him ride without some supervised experience. I am your average Joe and live comfortably but don't have a lot of extra money. But what else could be better than riding a Harley with your son? I bought the heritage and for the first time ever, my superglide was ridden by someone else, I gave it to my son. I am so proud to have him riding with me even though it is not as often as I would like.
I have been looking for a place like this to visit, meet new friends and bounce things off each other that would be very beneficial to all. We have to help our brothers who love to ride the best (Harleys) but need to do as much work on them as possible so we can afford to ride. Maybe most are more fortunate than I, I don't know, but I have to save as much money as possible these days.
I glad to be here and hope to meet some friends that I may can help as well as getting some good advice for myself!
