Help

Let me be the first to suggest the obvious - get a hold of a service manual for your year/model. After that if you know someone with the "Fix My Hog" DVD's it's covered in there.

Or just "man-up" and start removing screws. Honestly, how hard could it be? (Gosh, I hope my sarcasm shows - I am NOT serious about that last part!)

Remove the two front directionals, then remove the 6 torx screws from the inner fairing.

Place a towel over your front fender. Straddle the front fender and lift straight up on the outer fairing to get it to come loose form the hooks that hold it in place.

Then have to unplug the connector from the headlamps, by squeezing the the strain relief clips.

Reverse to reinstall.

Do yourself a favor and buy the factory manual, it will help you with things like this.

Sounds like it would help greatly to invite a couple friends over for the extra hands!

Well, everything lines up with the exception of the center of the left side. The lip of the outer fairing sticks out to much, and I hate that sticky stuff they put on the seal strip. Anyway I don't want to take off the whole, just line the left side up and make a smooth even seal. Man I can't tell you how many times I have just walked away. Anyway thanks for your advice. I do have the Fix My Hog CD but no manual, YET. If you ahve all thumbs on both hands, would that be a problem?
