how do i remove the key ignition switch on a 1992 flhtc

breeze3at no its not the same as a 95 mine doesnt have the little push button on the bottom left or right

In that other post, reply #7 he removed the sticker that says lock/run/acc and found screws holding it in.

Are you trying to remove the entire switch or just the knob?

You have to remove the outer fairing for access to the back side of the switch. You may have to pull the radio, I don't recall, and the manual only mentions the removal of inner and outer fairing. Any who there is a pin under the lip of the instrument support housing. You pull this pin with needle nose pliers which will release the Knob.
If you can get your hands on a manual it would really help you.
