Always liked the thought/looks of saddlebag guards on touring bike so found nice set from Hill Country Customs (Ape Hangers motorcycle Handlebars for Harley Davidson Motorcycles - Hill Country Custom Cycles) and installed them today. Initially thought about cutting front mount off stock saddlebag bracket to match w/guard, but ended up getting the black set from Zanotti's HD so all installed parts were:
- HCC Guards
- HD Support-Left (49194-09A)
- HD Support-Right (90781-09A)
- HD Antenna Bracked (76516-09)
Pretty easy project - just remove seat & saddlebags, prop exhaust, remove old saddlebag supports, install new supports w/guard & torque to spec. Hardest part was going to Ace HW for the bolts I needed to connect guard to frame & lower supports because this kit wasn't HD so needed some extra parts.
