Is this a SE air cleaner

Took cover off air cleaner to check if this is a SE air cleaner. I have never seen one in the first place to compare it to.

SE element that is resusable and rewashable but NOT oiled. Some have replaced theirs with K&N after a while, as the element deteriorates and portions get sucked into the intake.

That HD filter is ok, but once you get your money worth in use from it take a look at the KN filer you clean and oil most agree it is a better way to go.

That's the exact same one I just put on the other day. I got some high heat black paint and painted the back plate. It now matches the motor perfectly. I didn't want to spend the extra for the chrome one.

I have my tank and seat off right now waiting for my TFI to get here. Tuesday or Wednesday I hope.

I went ahead and completely pulled the tank off so I can route the wires in the stock sheath that runs under the tank. It also made it easier to get to the injector plugs. I had never pulled a tank before but since I have a Service Manual I figure I could handle it. Boy was I right. Nothing to it. I'm glad I did it and each time I work on my scooter I realize it's really not that hard if you read up and take your time.
