Left signal

left turn signal 2010 Ultra Shrine turns on when I turn key on, have to turn off via right switch. Will not turn back on. Took housing half off and sprayed with cleaner and still no go. Read on another HD site that other folks were having same problem.
Option is to replace switch or any other info would be great.

You may have corrosion or moisture in the left switch housing. One way you might be able to tell if it is the left switch is to try and activate the emergency flashers (press both turn switches at the same time). If the emergency flashers activate, your left turn signal switch is probably ok, and the problem is elsewhere. If they don't activate, and only the right flasher comes on, the problem IS the left switch.
