Lifter recommendations for evo's

getting a lifter noise and was wanting some feed back on which brand to replace them with - it's for a 1989 evo. motor.

I'm using Competition Cams/ V-Thunders in my Twin cam. The Evo models (#7390-1) cost about $45 ea. cheaper if you search around.

How many miles on the 89 FXR?

Do you have the Idle set too low?
That will make them noisy at idle like your PM said.

CYCO is now making a copy of the Harley "B" lifter that was replaced in '08; not sure what year the "B" lifter made in USA by Delphi was replaced with the "C" lifter made by who knows in Mexico.:small3d023: Haven't used a set yet and haven't talked to CYCO about who is making the lifter, etc. but worth looking into. The Harley "B" lifter was a good one; I believe CYCO is also making an EVO lifter but not sure.
