Low buck Low Rider exhaust mod

After riding around on my new low rider I couldn't help but notice everyone's exhaust over the one i was riding. I consider myself cheap and crafty. Being cheap I didn't want to buy a slip on or full exhaust. Being crafty I had to search and use what's available.

Here is what I used.
4" grinder
Welder
Rush "big Louie" 2.0 baffles
Drill

Next you have to get the old stuff out. Grind off the weld on the end of the muffler and take out the old stuff.

What it looks like and why you can't hear it.

New baffles

I tried it several ways. Complete baffle with origional packing, complete baffle no packing. Modified baffle. The modified baffle sounded best to me.

Edit. Gotta make another reply to put more pics

/\ that's the modified baffle

Slide it in and bolt it in and you now have a better sounding exhaust that still looks factory. (Best looking in my opinion)

I also cut open the cat and gutted it and welded it back up but no pics of that.

Hope this helps anyone looking for good sound out of what came on the bike.

Good deal with the splitter bolt, I have used eye bolts on fish tails before with good results, if you changed the air cleaner also you may need to add more fuel
