Low Idle After Prolonged Speed

I have been noticing when I'm traveling 65-75 for awhile, and come to a stop, like coming off the interstate, that my idle, which normally sits around 900-1000, goes to about 5-600 RPM and hangs there, then after about a minute or two starts to creep back up to normal. When this does this, if I blip the throttle a couple times it usually corrects itself. It runs fine w no backfiring or anything like that. Is this normal for the bike to do this? Bike is 2003 Ultra. 88cid.

No, not normal. Sticky or binding IAC stepper could certainly be the problem.

Just an update, Sprayed out the hole, and butterfly area. Wasn't clogged or anything that I could tell but some blackness came out. Rode today, only had it happen once, but only went down to 800 this time, and worked ok the rest of the times I stopped. hopefully We got it...
