Missing bolt

Good morning friends,

I was going over my bike yesterday I notoced a missing bolt by the transmission. Please comment.

I agree, stop by the dealership and pick up a new one. Do as oldhippie suggested, lock-tite and torque.

Is that a threaded hole or a roll pin for locating the trap door? If the hole is threaded replace the bolt with the proper length with loctite and check torque on all bolts

As Jack stated,that's the dowel pin for locating the trap door,There should be a matching one directly across from it ,3 o'clock & 9 o'clock.

Relax, as Jack and Tourbox said no bolt belongs in that hole, or the matching one directly across from it. There is a picture in the service manual if that helps to ease your mind.
