I would disconnect the 2 wires on the switch to see if it goes out. They are located on top of the tranny and just unplug. If it does go out then your switch is bad. If it stays on then you have a short or ground between the switch & the light. If the light itself is bad then you have to replace the entire indicator, it's LED and no bulb replacement for '07 and later.
