New SGS purchase. Air Filter Question

Hello. I just purchased an Amber Whiskey Street Glide Special I went stage 1 however I am now wondering if I really need the Screaming Eagle Stage 1 a/c kit or can I keep the stock component which i prefer the look of. If I can just upgrade the filter and get the same intake that would be excellent anyone have any ideas?

Take a look at my breather it is se hi flow with the stock cover

Stage 1 needs to extra air flow that the stock will not permit. You should be able to keep your stock cover and it'll install on the stage 1 kit. That's the story with my '09. The stock cover is used.

On my 14 RK the backing plate and filter media is changed to the stage 1 and the stock cover goes over it. Looks stone stock

Welcome to the forum. The original air cover was used after I installed a k&n filter and performance backing plate on my heritage. You have plenty of options.
