Normal oil temp?

What is considered to be normal oil temperature? I bought an LCD oil temp dip stick and it was reading between 220 and 230 degrees F today. Is that normal temp for the oil?

that's about right on that means your head temp is about 240 to 260 normal operating temp is 240 to 280 start worrying if your oil temp starts hitting 250 to 280

Normal range on the TC engine is anything between 200*-250*. Above that the oil will start to break down. Synthetics will stand a bit higher temps.
