oil breather kits

could anyone tell me if there is any benefit by installing an oil breather kit? I'm assuming that removing the oil from being sucked back through the throttle body would improve performance. have 98 ultra EVO fuel inj.

Carbon build build up over time would be less by not burning the oil. How much carbon is the key question that I do not know the answer too. Its obviously based upon how much oil actually goes through.

Like Bodeen said; depends on how much oil is getting through. If there's a lot, you should address the cause. Umbrella valves harden and loose efficiency over time. Also worn rings can allow blowby causing more crankcase pressure and more oil in the intake.
