What funny noise out of the primary?

Good question sounded like the chain was loose went away after it warmed up

Glider posted a tip for adjusting the primary on our model years. accelerate hard in first to approx. 30mph. brake aggresively till motor is lugging, then do it a couple times more and this will adjust the self adjusting primary. Have I got it right Glider?

didnt do nothing for me .. i might open the primary at 5k if it keeps up

thats why im going to wait to see if its still there at 5k ..i know the primary was thick today at about 30 degrees.. but it did sound like the chain whipping

I read somewhere that the Chrome Shield is glued onto the Oil Cooler?? If so, what type of adhesive did you use. If not, how is the Shield attached to the Cooler?

As smitty said it is held on by the bottom of the oil cooler studs that go though the bracket and then bolt down

your kit will be different than mine as mine is a 08

but for a 2k this one should do it 26082-05B
