Oil tank placement?

Capt Jack. How do I get oil to my road king motor, it is below the oil pump? Or am I missing something?

You asked Jack, but would probably like a quick answer. The oil pan is under the transmission.

Your oil tank is below the motor and is pumped to the motor.

Twin Cam Motors are different type of pump and oil tank set up, The tank is below the frame, the pump is inside the cam cover and is a forced fed gear rotor type pump, it pulls the oil from the tank and squeezes it between the gear rotors and returns it to the pan after lubing the motor
