p 035 code

I left work this morning and when I started the bike for warm up The yellow engine light came on after a minute or so. Cleared it out , it was code 035 . Statrted the bike again and left work and it came on again . stopped at store cleared it again and rode on home about 5 miles and it did not come back on. We did have a heavy rain last night while i was at work and drenched the bike. What is this code?

Error codes tend to be consistent across vehicle platforms, and by asking on Google it appears to be a low voltage code.

My guess is water got into your bike's wiring and caused some grounding. So once it drys out the code should no longer show up but it would be worthwhile to track down where water and wiring can mix. Handlebar switches perhaps?

Could also be the ECM. You are within warranty so have the dealer check the ECM for a misfunction or short.
