PO262 code

Good day folks, I'm new to the forum, I'm a retired Harley Tech Living in Costa Rica, I'm having an issue with my 2008 Softail Deluxe, I'm getting the PO262 code Front Injector High, I have checked resistance on both injectors and both are within range, I have checked the wiring for shorts and opens...all good, I have checked all ground points ...all good, I have checked resistance from ECM connector to the front injector...all good, I have checked voltage from pin 87 on the relay to the injector...all good, I have swapped the front injector with the rear and still get the PO 262 code on the front injector, also when it is cold it will start on both cylinders but after it warms up the front injector shuts down, my personal diagnosis is the ECM is faulty does anybody have any thoughts?
Unfortunately there is no dealership in Costa Rica to test the ECM

Welcome aboard from Gulf Coast AL.
I have a 2008 softail service manual and there is nothing about ECM testing, only installation and removal. Hopefully someone will chime in with more help..good luck.

Have you tried dynamic testing versus static testing looking for voltage drop?

Many times, resistance testing will produce inaccurate results.

Ambient temperature changes during dynamic testing can produce more reliable results.

In short, you can see how the circuit is working when it's live.

Yes. I have tried dynamic testing, when it fails it comes up with the code and sub code is a short to 12v but there is no short or open in the circuit

I'll share this experience. Not sure if it will help.

I checked fuel pressure first. I also could not hear pump when run switch was engaged.

So, I removed pump from tank. It was clogged from ethanol and seized. I also found a pin hole in plastic fuel line.

Replaced hose, unseized pump.

What were the voltage readings at ecm connector and front injector? Engine Running? Will it run?

pump is good fuel filter is new, pick up screen is new, fuel pressure is at spec.

Sounds like an open on w/y. How about at ecm where w/y connects?
there is no open on w/y wire, ECM connection is solid full contact on all pins

What is voltage coming out of ecm where trigger connects? Can you back probe at that specific location?

I wonder if it is a pull up, or pull down circuit. Not sure how it works.

Do you have a wiring diagram handy to post Boss?
