primary on 2011

I always put in a quart on my 04 road king in the primary. I looked in the owners manual for the capacity on the 11 ultra and it says 1.4 aprox. ???

My 2008 takes 38 oz on primary oil change and 45 oz if primary cover removed.

Huh. Interesting. I feel stupid. Perhaps I should look at a service manual. When is it full?

As dbmg said you will see different specs. for wet or dry. Mine states 32 oz. wet - 40 oz. dry

Pre 2009 the Primary took 32oz's. Now they take 38oz's.
