I've a 2009 FXDC. Everything is stock. I'm thinking of upgrading to a higher motor for faster speed?
My questions are as follows:
Should I go for a stage I kit?
Should I go for a 103" stage II Kit?
I saw this procharger on a harley and it looked good?Should I go for a procharger instead?
 
It is all a question of money and how fast you want to go, not to mention how long you want your motor to live. Stage 1 with exhaust, air filter and a custom tune will be reasonable and give you some nice gains you will feel. The 103 kit which I just did (I had already done stage 1 with a custom tune, V&H Big Radius pipes and an SE Heavy Breather ) made a very nice difference. A Pro Charger is by far going to give you the most gains, cost the most and hurt the motor the most. Just my $.02
 
i'm with smitty the secret is to get the gas and air in and out of the comb. chamber as fast as you can this is the KEY to making H.P. in any engine not just an HD
 
The HD engine design by it's nature can take a massive amount of air
I can not post a link I would like to here. They use some rough talk and would not be right.
