Progressive 940 vs. 944... worth the WAIT?

I have a 2000 RK with air shocks and am considering (no have made the decesion) to switch to Progressives. I am 6'2 at 270lbs.
I am wondering if anyone has any intel or opinion on whether the wait for 944's is worth it(currently back ordered till late April) or not. There is a few dollars difference in the 2 models but not all that much. The difference seems to be this new FST (Frequency Sensing Technology). Any opinon or intel appreciated Thanks - John

Went to a winter workshop and a Progressive Shocks rep was there. Sounded like the 944's were worth waiting for.
Only problem is they aren't available "yet." Even the PN in the new catalog states the PN is no longer a good PN.

gusotto... Thanks. Was there anything specific he mentioned as to the differences other than what is stated in the descriptions? I don't see that much in price between the 940's. Then again they are all Pricey
