Removing the cat

I want to remove the inferno known as the cat. Money is tight. If I remove the cat and put on stock 2011 cvo mufflers would the Efi keep the afr at the stock lean setting of 14.6 or will it be even leaner? I will purchase a tfi when funds are available.

While removing cat from 2011 bikes anyone block off the spot where the cat was to make dual exhaust?

I just got/installed this one thanks to advice here. Goodness install took just a few minutes. There is a difference in way engine responds when accelerating and on highway too. You can't go wrong.

How much ?

Has anybody put in a separation pipe when the cat has been removed to make true dual exhaust?

I just ordered the gen 3 ejk. Looking forward to this weekend!

Well that's done!

Removed obstruction in the exhaust. Seems a bit ridiculous to have such a blockage. Oh well Gen 3 EJK tomorrow and Fullsac baffles on Friday:cheers
