Road King rear axle

I have a 2007 RK Classic and a Bud gave me a IDS rear pulley off a 08 Bike.Are the 07 and 08 axle size the same?

no the 08 uses a 25mm axle and bearings... 07 is a 1" bearing and axle ids will fit 07 wheels as i used a set of 07 mags to put on my 08

so would I replace the bearing on the pulley with a 1 inch to fit on 07

if you can find the bearing yes but you have to have it pressed in and out and they are about 60$ for the IDS bearing

Larry; Look in self help section under Transmission/clutch/drive, tip #50. Glider has everything (I think) that you need to know about this.
